I've been wanting to post my characters to the Outer Circle for awhile, but I was pretty unhappy with most of their face/hair combos... I suppose now is a good time to post them, especially since I just gave 9 out of 11 of them Makeovers.

Very cool idea. I saw an artist do something like this before, and he made a lucky few very, very happy.

Sir, may the Snowman King give you insight into a rare elemental known simply as a "Charr Hunter Beast"

@ Avatar - Gratz!
@ YSJ - Got that right! Eh, I'm pretty broke really, but there's not much more I really need. I mean, most of the time I can pluck some tengu for whatever I'm after. And the art, well, it's just easier right now if there's not the sense of "okay, I gotta get this done because so-and-so is sitting on * k for it"

But yeah, cool stuff. Things to look for in some of my next selections, I've been looking through my catalog of toons and see I have tons of necros and mesmers, but very few rits and assassins...in fact maybe only 1 assassin ever... wow... so I need more.

hehe, sneaky sneaky

I broke it down once and was shocked how many of the toons I've drawn have white/grey hair. My average toon is a female mesmer with brown hair. And a combination of the rarest traits would make a male assassin with red hair (but I don't know if that's even possible...maybe reddish).

I'm quite fond of white/grey hair. It hasn't been particularly possible for me in GW, given that most of my characters are of Canthan origin. >_> I have quite a few characters in other games (and not-games) with silver hair, though.

My Ele does have grey hair and I may be be recustomizing my monk to have that eye-blinding Nightfall white. :3

EDIT: I hate deleting my own posts, but with the recent culling of posts, it made no sense. Just wanted to say, I saw, but I'm not upset with anyone. Some good points were made and thank you all for your vigorous support of the arts.

Anyway, let's get back to drawin'!

I've got the picture all laid out. Pose, armor, scene...I don't know if this one will be a monster question...maybe location trivia or weapon identification. Either way, I have the image in my head and I'm going to try really hard not to screw it up, 'cuz it's awesome! I hope the person that grabs this likes it and isn't like "ugh...really?" about the weapon choice.

The charr hunter beasts, yeah, I thought those were really cool the first time I saw one and I don't think I'd ever included a monster in a picture before. Seemed like a good time and subject to start with.

Hmmm, new security measures on the forum... I suppose they might also frown on me requesting name-revealing screenshots of people, so I'm going to say: Crop out your name if you want that to be private. I sort of liked the idea of putting the character name on the picture, but I'm not going to require that it be provided now. I'll add it if you want it.

A new piece of art is available to be claimed:

If this is your toon, just show me a screenshot of her in-game saying "Hey, Starr! That's MY Toon!"
Make sure you're armor is pretty close to what's in the picture to qualify.
